Q: Do I have symptoms of low blood pressure…PLEASE HELP!?
I am fit, exercise and play a lot of sport, but I cannot stand in one place for longer than maybe 15 minutes. Then if I do not sit down within say 5 minutes then I faint. I have fainted so many times at school during assembly it is really embarassing. I actually want to ask my parents to write a letter to the school for permission not to attend assembly, but I do not know if they will believe me because….
at church, I also have the same problem, and while everyone stands and sings I normally just sit down, and my parents think I just don’t want to be at church and am being miserable….and they glare at me while I am trying not to pass out.
I stand for 5 minutes, feel like I am going to faint, sit down for 10 minutes, and then stand for 5 more minutes. I just keep repeating this process.
As long as I keep moving I won’t faint. For instance i can jog for maybe 20 kilometers and can ride my bike for maybe 100 kilometers but I cannot stand still for more than 15 minutes.
Also If I stand up to quickly, I fall straight down again. Or I just see stars and have no control of balance or anything. This also happens when I get out of bed in the mornings.
My ideal good nights sleep would be about 10 hours, but normally I only have 8 hours. I basically have the most energy when I am on the go, but if I sit in one position for more that say 30 minutes my entire body becomes a shutdown. Even at school during break and lunch times, I wish I could just run around the school so as to awaken me up.
Soon as I get home, I have lunch and go for a long run, and then swim. After this I am so much more awake. If I do not go for exercise after school, by six o clock I just want to go to bed. If I do not get a good exercise workout I cannot get rid of my hunger. Yes, once I get a good workout I all of a sudden i feel full.
I am constantly hungry, always craving something savoury. I eat more than just about anyone, I will eat whatever is put in front of me and if I am at a party I will eat until Its time to go home. At home I eat every 1 hour, otherwise i really feel faintish. At school I eat during class so as too keep my energy up.
Some mornings after a long sleep, I awake and not to sure where I am, how old I am, and after 30 seconds or so I come around.
My hands and feet are also always cold, and no matter how hot it is, if I am not moving my hands and feet are like ice. I normally sleep with a pair of socks on, even on pretty warm evenings. When I am really tied I jst crave a hot bath and junk food.
After a big meal, I cannot stay awake and always try and excuse myself so I can go and sleep. If I eat to much, I just want to sleep, and if I do not eat enough I feal very aggitated. Doing regaress exercise helps me loose my hunger cravings.
I would regard myself as rather fit, not in any way overweight or underweight, I eat very healthy, 4 fruits a day, and at least 3 veggies at supper every evening.
Sometimes I am so tired I just want to pass out, after just attending a few classes, and my parents say I am a lazy teenager
…….
I BASICALLY EAT AS MUCH AS I CAN AND EXERCISE AS MUCH AS I CAN AND I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY
A: it could be a heart problem or it could be low blood sugar or diabetes go to you dr and have it checked

I BASICALLY EAT AS MUCH AS I CAN AND EXERCISE AS MUCH AS I CAN AND I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY
A: You need to go to your doctor and have a physical along with some bloodwork. You can eat a very healthy diet and still be anemic or have some other problems that can cause the symptoms you describe. It’s also not uncommon for young people to have low blood pressure, but if that’s the case, your situation sounds rather severe. Please go get things checked out.
Q: Doctor?? What can these symptoms be, low energy, low blood pressure, cloudy urine?
Im 26 years old and I have been feeling weak lately, for the past two months my blood pressure has been on the low side (around 95/56) my urine is cloudy, about 2 years ago I did have results with protein in my urine but I seemed fine up until now. I also feel sleepy frequently, also have allergy issues( not sure if allergies or something else) I have already been tested for regular allergies like cats, dogs, trees, grass, and was only slightly allergic to certain grasses and cats. When they looked at my nasal passages they told me they were 90% blocked.
Can this be something specific? Although I am thinking of seeing a doctor, I feel it usually depends on the doc that you see! They are human…..
A: You sound dehydrated….which would cause a majority of your symptoms. Hydration is key, you would need even more because of allergies…..focus on your water intake. I also would seriously consider some sinus surgery to remove the polyps or blockages….you will feel a world better. Also are you taking an allergy pill such as Zyrtec? It may help, but take it at bed, it may cause drowsiness. You can also receive allergy shots for your known allergens..it’s not instant relief….but will help in the long run. Now for protein in your urine, have you ever been checked for diabetes? Protein found in urine can be a sign…..but definitely drink more water, take a multivitamin and start an allergy pill…..check out sinus surgery….allergy shots and get another urinalysis..good luck!

Q: If antibiotics kill gram negative bacteria, why can symptoms of fever and low blood pressure persist?
Any reference website would be appreciated as well
A: I believe that the body stores to much waste in our colon causing symptoms of Dis-ease try colonics to rid the stuff harming your intestinal tract and your immune system.
Q: What causes these symptoms of heat stroke:nausea, disorientation, headache, and low blood pressure?
and why don’t people sweat when they have heat stroke? what causes it?
A: They sweat all right, and the heat stroke follows. One big mechanism is the loss of sodium. Salt tablets can prevent or cure the condition very nicely.
Q: Low blood pressure? Please help?
I am 14, 5′4″ and 103 pounds. My resting pulse is 70 and my blood pressure is 104/66. I guess that’s on the low side of normal, but I have some symptoms of low blood pressure.
I get dizzy and everything goes black for a minute when I get up (even if I get up slowly). I also get kinda shaky at random times.
I heard somewhere that low pressure decreases your appetite, and for the past 6 months (maybe more, maybe less) I’ve never been hungry. I just kinda eat whenever and feel like a pig.
I also heard that low blood pressure can harm the kidneys. I’m ALWAYS getting urinary tract infections (I have been for all my life). Could this be because my kidneys might be damaged? My mom has taken me to a urologist before when I was younger, but they don’t know why I’m always getting them.
Are all of these things because of low blood pressure? What are other symptoms of low blood pressure I should be watching for?
A: Your BP is actually excellent and much much much better than 120/80 which is regarded as normal and acceptable.
Low BP usually means below 90/60 and common symptoms are dizziness, faintness and actual fainting spells.
Clinically you are slightly underweight and if this is due to under eating this could explain why you get dizzy, everything goes black for a minute and getting shaky at random times.
Frequent UTIs could be due to kidney problems or kidney infections. UTIs can also be caused by bacteria entering the urinary tract at the other end due to insufficient hygiene.
Pehaps you can find some useful information in a web search for “uti causes”.
Q: Antibiotics can kill gram-negative bacteria, but symptoms of fever and low blood pressure can persist. Why?
A: Because Gram+ or anerobes as well as fungi can cause infections as well.
Q: Effects Of slightly Low Blood Pressure?
I had my blood pressure checked yesterday and the nurse said that it is slightly low, nothing to worry about too much but tokeep blood sugar level up and eat lots of veg etc.
What are the symptoms of low blood pressure as i have been feeling so tired and lethargic 4 about a year now after i done my alcohol detox and wonder now if this is to do with LBP?
Thank you
Think it was 100/85
A: I used to have really low blood pressure (70 over 40 or thereabouts).
I used to experience dizzy spells early in the morning on an empty stomach if doing anything energetic.
I also used to have dizzy spells if I did anything energetic immediately after eating.
I was told to try to make sure that I ate something light before I left my house in the mornings to kick-start my metabolism and to regulate my blood sugar levels, and that after eating a heavy meal that I should rest for half an hour or so to give my body a chance to again regulate the blood sugar levels.
Try and stick to whole grain foods and foods that are not too high in calories or sugar, it may give you a short boost of energy but the lethargy you are experiencing may be due to a sugar rush subsiding.
I passed out on a few occasions; colour drained from my face, cold sweat and blackout… It didn’t last very long though and after a short while I would be fine again.
Don’t fret, you’ll outlive the HBP losers!
Q: Antibiotics can kill Gram-Negative bacteria but symptoms of fever and low blood pressure can persist. Why?
A: Because the toxins the bacteria produced before they died are still circulating in the blood, and the immune system is still active.
Q: Is this symptoms of high or low blood pressure?
Whenever I stand up i get light-headed and dizzy.
I thought this would be low blood pressure but I know I have plenty of sugar in my system so it might be high blood pressure. Can you tell my which it is and how to fix it?
Thanks. not necessarily a lot of chocolate but I have been eating a lot of sugar. I almost never get headaches. I get frequent nosebleeds but that’s because I live in Colorado where it’s super dry. I don’t want to go to the doctor, not yet, I’m healthy and it’s not that severe. Would more exercise help? I am healthy weight, but it’s also summer and I’ve been laying on the couch from 1pm to 5am every day.
A: What you described are symptoms of low blood pressure. I have low blood pressure and i thought i had plenty of sugar in my system too. I eat lots of chocolate lol. Do you mainly suffer from these symptoms in the morning? because even if you eat plenty of sugar, in the morning you may still feel like this because you have gone all night without any food (because presumably you have been sleeping). I would suggest you get this checked by your doctor though to make sure and to ask what you can do about this.
Q: Why is my diastolic blood pressure so low in comparison to my systolic?
I’ve been having issues with low blood pressure, but my diastolic is significantly lower than it should be. My last BP reading was about 90 over 38, therefore the systolic was on the low side of normal with the diastolic being very low.
I was wondering what are the causes of these things and how i can elevate my blood pressure to normal levels.
I’ve experienced trembling, coldness, dizziness, lightheadedness and all the other symptoms associated with low BP
A: There is NO way your diastolic can be 38 and you still be up walking around. If it was that low all your organs would be hungry for blood and you would need MAST trousers to push the blood up from the lower half of your body to your vital organs. Ask any Dr if there is any way your diastolic can be 38 and you still be conscious. Your machine is broken or defective or needs new batteries. Go to any Fire Dept or Emergency Services place and get your BP taken by a professional. I don’t know how these other contributors can tell you eat salt or not give you an answer, just a link. He claims to be a Dr but yet does not tell you a BP that low is impossible. Get it taken by a professional.
Q: Low blood pressure?
I have a blood pressure reading of 95/60. I am 14 years of age. Is that low blood pressure or is that normal for my age? What are some symptoms of low blood pressure?
A: Nope you’re fine. The normal teenage b/p should be right around there. Most teens are now having problems with high b/p because of the diet and lack of exercise.
Symptoms of low b/p include light headedness, pale cool clammy skin, fast heart rate, dizziness, fainting, ect
Q: is 114/73 low blood pressure for an adult?
i just checked my moms blood pressure and its 114/73 and the heartbeat/pulse is 90 is this very low? she has all the symptoms of low blood pressure btw she has chronic anemia and just got her injection on wednesday.
A: Doctors generally agree that systolic readings of 120 to 140 and diastolic readings of 70 to 90 are normal. Slightly higher readings—140 to 159 and 90 to 94—are considered mild high blood pressure (mild hypertension). Readings from 160 to 179 and 94 to 114 signal moderate hypertension. Anything above these limits is considered a serious problem.
******************************
For most people, a heart rate of 60 to 100 beats a minute while at rest is considered normal.
******************************
But what is not normal is the chronic anemia. There are 2 types of chronic anemia, primary and secondary:
Primary chronic anemia
Primary chronic anemias are the true chronic anemias, in which anemia (defined as a hemoglobin level more than 2 standard deviations below the mean reference value for age) is part of the basic disease process. The basic disease process is hematologic (eg, sickle cell disease, HS), and the degree of anemia is often acceptable.
Secondary chronic anemia
Secondary chronic anemias are chronic anemias that may provide a diagnostic clue to a chronic disease. Chronic anemia is defined as anemia persisting longer than 2-6 months. Secondary chronic anemias are the consequence of a nonhematologic problem (eg, chronic osteomyelitis).
*****************************
I would suppose that when you say ‘injection,’ you mean Vitamin B-12 for lethargy. If so, check the ingredients of the injection to see from what the vitamin is extracted and how it is delivered in the body.
See, the anemia can be caused by ‘malabsorption’ of vitamin b-12 in the intestines and that is caused by bacterial overgrowth and if the vitamin b-12 in the ‘injection’ is the by-product of yeast, that produces other problems.
My suggestion, if you want it, is to start taking ‘probiotics’ and balancing the Ph level. And do some intestinal cleansing and colon cleansing.
Q: low blood pressure?
i’m confused because i have alot of the symptoms for low blood pressure, i’m not even sure what that is by the way. when i get up i feel dizzy alot of the times, and my body shakes, and twice i passed out because of it
the doctor said i had normal blood pressure. any ideas of what i have?
A: Your blood pressure fluctuates from moment to moment. If you have lost consciousness, low BP may have caused it, but it’s important to evaluate if that is the reason, and if so, why it happened. You should go to the dr or ER to find out.
