Q: Anyone out there take/taken Rythmodan R*tard tablets (Disopyramide Phosphate) at all?
Did you suffer any side effects from these tablets? I know all tablets have side effects, but these in particular seem pretty awful.250mg mornings,250mg evenings so I have 24 hr cover…
Thanks for that trish. Its actually my neighbour,(it was quicker to phrase it as I did rather than go into all the detail) He is a little concerned about these tablets,(he’s in his eighties).I told him the same as you,but thought maybe if someone on here had taken them with no ill effect,it may help him.I’m happy to report,I am fighting fit……thankfully!
A: I have just looked this medication up Karen and I agree that the side effects seem bad. However the legalities mean that the manufacturers have to put down all side effects even if just one person has suffered from them.
Obviously you need the drug so try it first when you are with someone to help. I’m sure you will be fine. I have to take a drug that I must be upright for half an hour afterwards and the side effects from that are awful too. Thankfully I don’t suffer them
Good Luck
