Q: Why does this happen to people?
This year I hear about many people who get heart attacks:my father, our neighbor, people I know in the city, famous people that I hear about in the news.So, is this happening to people more than the years before or it is only my surrounding?

A: People get heart attacks all the time. It’s nothing extraordinary.

Q: Why do people always think like this?
This world has alot of bad from killings to dieseases so why does everyone say well if your fat you will die of a heart attack,then see someone in excellent shape or a famous person die and are like? huh is this real why do people think this way? cause it can happen to anyone so i dont believe this bullshit

A: It’s all about control and conformity because if everybody is the same then they become predictable. You are not an individual only a microfiber waiting to be lumped into the fold. Very few people in the medical profession look at the individual instead of the medical study which tells them that obese people are the ones prone to heart attacks. Doctors get lazy and then people die. Happens all the time that’s why they have insurance.

i keep hearing a thing on the radio saying to watch your own heart attack at 9.17pm on Sunday 10th August 2008. and then famous people saying ‘ill be watching’. what is it? cos on the tv guide it says it is midsomer murders.

Something to think about: Fame, success, power and wealth cannot escape the grips of suicidal thoughts.

The death of Amschel Mayor James Rothschild, ruled an apparent suicide, left the wealthy and powerful Rothschild family of Europe without a leader. Rothschild was to become the head of N.M. Rothschild & Sons Ltd. The family, which values privacy, has been unable to avoid press coverage.

Rothschild committed suicide in July 1996. He was found hanged at the Hotel Bristol in Paris. The suicide came hours after a meeting, during which plans were discussed for a massive merger of asset management companies. His death was originally reported as being due to a heart attack. Some conspiracy theorists believe that Rothschild was actually strangled.

What do you think happened? Was it suicide? If so why would he commit suicide? Or are you throwing in with the conspiracy theorists?

*Note: Some people think suicide is just a self-pity trip for those that are uneducated, poor, self-esteem without doing real research on this issue. There are several prominent people in history that has committed suicide.

Q: What is Your Favourite Queen Song and Album?
Queen is an Awesome Band, and it could kill any other band in its way.
Queen made there first debut in 1973 on their first Album called “Queen” which was highly successful but though very under rated. in 1974 they made their second album called “Queen II” which was highly successful as well and it is Queen’s only album thats closely related to their predosessor album. later that year they made their 3rd studio album called “Sheer Heart Attack” and boosted to their first taste of world wide commercial success, with a famous single called “Killer Queen”. Sheer Heart Attack hit Number #2 in the UK and #12 in the US. But a year later they saw a World Wide topping 5 star Album which gave them ultimate success and fame, their 1975 album called “A Night At The Opera” which hit hard and topped nearly every chart in the whole world. With their Super Album, they brought their Signature song called “Bohemian Rhapsody” which is now known as UK’s most classical rock song, and UK’s best single in 50 years, with that sinlge, Queen is the only band in the UK that had a single (Bohemian Rhapsody) to top the charts for two seprate occasions, 1 in 1975/1976 was #1 for 9 weeks and again in 1992 (b-side for “These Are The Days Of Our Lives”) which topped the charts for 2 weeks.

with all mighty success, came their new album for 1976 “A Day At The Races” a calmer and cooler album than NATO, but not as good. it rocked our charts again with more successful singles, in 1977 came their new album which was a completely opisite version of A Day At The Races, which embarked the staduim filling rock anthem “We Will Rock You” and backing that up is “We Are The Champions”. these 2 singles came very popular, both in the Rock catalouge and the Sporting Catalouge.

After that came a sleeker and calmer album called “Jazz” which never had any Jazz genre in it!

in 1980, Queen made another Ultra Successful Album called “The Game” and Single “Another One Bites The Dust”, which topped the charts in nearly all American charts, to hip hop, and even soul.

At The Same time, they recorded a Movie Sound track for “Flash Gordon”.

after Queen’s mighty success, followed a poorer album unexpected by fans but though still had power. the album was called “Hot Space”, it featured new style pop, disco and dance music but still keeping rock into it.

after their frozen success, they made a new album in 1983 called “The Works” which got them back in action. this album featured some highly successful rock songs.

in 1985 they played at live Aid, and was voted best Live Gig Ever!
after Live Aid, Queen made a sinlge called “One Vision” which was for their new 1986 Album “A Kind of Magic”.

after that, many people thought that Queen were breaking up due to there time off the charts. many UK Tabloids scavenged into Freddies and Brians life. After That, Queen all got back to together and recorded their most inspirational albums in the 80s, 1989’s “The Miracle”, just like “The Game”, it hit back and gave them more success around the world. Later, Queen recorded again for their new 1991 album, “Innuendo”, which boosted their success, but due to Freddie Mercury’s illness and turning out positive for aids, they only had a limited amount of time to record their last studio album called “Made In Heaven”, which was released in 1995.
Freddie later passed away in 1991.
in 1992, the remaining members begain a tribute concert which featured heaps of other artists, such as Elton John, U2 and George Micheal.

After Made in Heaven was released in 1995, and was first album to show Rock Star after life.

Queen made a tribute ballad for Freddie and released it on their other complaison album in 1997 called “Queen Rocks”, the song was called “No One But you (Only the good die young)”. it was also a tribute song for princess diana which died in a car crash in the same year.

later John deacon, the bassist player, retired for kids, which leaved brian may and rodger taylor, but later in 2005, they joined with Paul Rodgers for concerts to play their classical songs. later in 2007 they released their first studio single together and in september 2008 they are releasing their new album called “The Cosmos Rocks”.

A: No, God is omniscent, he KNEW they would do that, that’s why he fortold them about it. He knows Satan exists and he allows free will. If it wern’t Judas, Satan would have had another… and God knew that before he came.

There are people that have it worse. Much, if not all, of the things that happen to us in our lives are due solely to the choices we make. I don’t read anywhere in your “story” where someone held a gun to your head and forced you to do any of it.

What a caring, kind and loving thing to call your child, sounds like it’s more of an inconvenience to you than a joy. Sounds like the child is destined to end up exactly like you, if it survives.

It’s pretty long so I’ll just put the first couple of paragraphs. If you want more tell me :)

Harvey Edelman, age thirty-four and counting, his once-attractive face now adorned with a hobo-signature salt-and-pepper beard and weather beaten ruddy skin, sat against the wall of Café Figaro smoking a cigarette. It wasn’t a very good cigarette, Harvey thought absently. The smoke in it was weak and ashes were getting all over the ground. He briefly dreamed up a wildly imaginative story in which New York burned to the ground from his cigarette spark and started to chuckle, but he choked on a puff of smoke and his fantasy quickly ended. He always did have a good imagination. He remembered sitting in high school Freshman English, writing mildly decent love poetry while he stared wistfully at Meredith Greene. He had known her for so long, been in love with her for so long. Borrowed notebook paper from her at Omaha Middle, scribbled Meredith Edelman on his notebooks at Omaha High, stalked her from the minute her family moved in across from his, the summer of 8th grade. Gazed at her as she danced with William Newport at the Senior Prom while he lamely ladled spiked punch into happy couple’s plastic cups. Thought that maybe on the last day of school, he would tell her, and they would kiss and date and get married and live happily ever after.
But he never told her. He had never even said goodbye to her. He had lost his nerve, had chickened out, and had watched her BMW squeal a sick kind of goodbye as it pulled out of her garage for that last time. And that was it. By this time, she had graduated from Columbia and probably married that pretentious shit Benedict.
And he had still come.
At first, it had seemed like a dream. He felt as if he was watching someone else put the Stanford acceptance letter through the paper shredder, pack a duffle, take a credit card out of his father’s wallet, fly to New York, and wander around the Columbia campus every day looking for Meredith while he stayed in a shitty hotel in Harlem.
After the credit card had reached its limit, he got a job at a used bookstore. He held that for a while and gave up on her, but four months after he had started he heard from a coworker that a semi-famous model named Meredith went to get coffee every day at a place called Café Figaro in Greenwich Village and he had quit right then and there.
Harvey had been sitting outside of the Café all day and all night waiting for her. He never saw her. Once, he thought he had and almost had a heart attack, but he had hadn’t seen her dimpled grin, heard her pitchy voice, or smelled her sandalwood perfume since the last day of school.
He realized her appearance could have changed considerably (after all, she was a model now), but he was confident he could spot her a mile away. Nobody else had that shade of hair, so blonde it was almost white. Natural, too.
So he had been sitting against this wall, waiting for her, for more than thirteen years with no reward. So what? He hadn’t gotten close, but he had gotten his cigar. Cigarette, actually. He knew it was a filthy habit, but most models smoked, so wouldn’t Meredith like the fact he smoked?
Besides, the wall was a great place for creative inspiration. He had painted his first sign after instead of change, a passing art major from NYU had tossed him leftover supplies from his backpack: black paint and some manila paper.
A lot of times he didn’t have paper. That was fine. When that happened, he used cardboard from the trash can. But he always had paint. People gave him paint, and not the kiddie kind you buy at Hobby Lobby for a dollar. The real deal, the stuff that came from ostentatious stationary shops near Central Park. Because he was Harvey the Hobo, Harvey the Hobo Poet. He knew his nicknames, knew he had a Wikipedia entry somewhere on the web, knew he had become a symbol of “Oh those crazy New Yorkers” just like the Naked Cowboy. But he willingly posed for pictures with tourists, willingly chatted with the college students, willingly painted sign after sign. He liked to think of the signs as his therapy, as his way of getting out his frustration with the world. He had realized a long time ago the world was just plain shit. He liked to think of himself as enlightened. It made him feel accomplished, like he had joined the ranks of Da Vinci and Socrates. Maybe he had, in his way. Wouldn’t that be something.

Glad you liked it! Yes, it’s part of a bigger story. Much bigger. That part was just a paragraph of a chapter of a novel! Yeah…he is a very lonely dude. But he’s a cool character. I’m having fun with him haha.

That last comment was SO uncalled for. I’m a young author. Sorry if you didn’t like it, but keep comments about subjects you don’t know a thing about to yourself. Jesus Christ that was rude. asshole.

A: It needs editing. You have a couple key problems. 1) Information dumps! You have so many of them. You need to be a little more selective about detail – there is just a little bit too much. 2) Passive voice! Learn to train yourself to see it and not use it. Example … “He had painted his first sign…” is stronger when you say “He painted his first sign … ” You can’t always get rid of it, but usually you can get rid of about 98% of it. If you can, that is good.

Check out Stephen King’s On Writing. Read it. It will help you a lot. Section 6 of the On Writing part of the book discusses detail and description. “Thin description leaves the reader feeling bewildered and nearsighted. Overdescription buries him or her in details and images. The trick is to find a happy medium.” You might also be interested in trying his exercise on page 170. It is one of the best writing exercises I have ever seen. Pax-C

“Smoking is a very hazardous habit. It is actually the most dangerous legal consumer product on the face of this planet.” Dr. Melbourne Fox, Director of American Lung Association (Melbourne 25).
In this generation, smokers are everywhere: on TV, movies, and even just walking down the street. Famous, young people smoke and it encourages other younger people to do. Smoking ages range from pre-teens to the elderly. What many people don’t know that that even though it may be cool and hip, it can cause serious problems for them. Smoking is well known to cause many unhealthy habits in people’s lives and even affect peoples’ mental and physical health. Smoking can cause serious health issues. It hurts people besides the smoker. Also, it can cause addiction. Although many smokers claim that smoking helps them, there are many more cons that out-weigh the pros.
Smoking can cause lots of different health problems. In the book, Health Effects of Smoking, by Dr. Carey Melbourne, writes, “Smoking harms nearly every organ of the body, causing many diseases” (Melbourne 5). Smoking hurts the body, so in general, it deteriorates the smoker’s health. As a result, the smoker ends up with diseases. Dr. William deGraffenried, a researcher, writes about this in his article, “Why Smoke?” He writes, “Smoking causes cancers of the bladders, pharynx, larynx, and lungs. It also causes serious heart and respiratory diseases” (deGraffenried 9). Studies show that people that had smoked or are smoking, had at least one chronic disease. These diseases can be very harmful to the human body and can even result in death. Now that we know what smoking can do to a smoker’s body, let’s see what it can do to others.
Secondhand smoke can be harmful in its own way. It is very dangerous to expose anybody to secondhand smoke. Melbourne writes, “The more secondhand smoke humans are exposed to, the higher the level of these harmful chemicals in your body” (Melbourne 12). Even if a non-smoker does not smoke, just being around smoke can be hazardous to ones’ health. Parents have to be on watch when they smoke. Any type of exposure to their children can be harmful. DeGraffenried writes, “Secondhand smoke is responsible for 20,000 to 1 million children for having asthma attacks and 150,000 to 300,000 infants that are younger than 18 months of age to have lung infection (such as pneumonia and bronchitis)” (deGraffenried 15). Pregnant woman should also be aware of what is around them. Any type of smoke can cause their babies to have low birth weight or can even cause SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). Secondhand smoke is really serious and the effects are preposterous. Nonsmokers should be aware and try to avoid it. We should now take a look at another bad habit of smoking, addiction.
Addiction is the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming. This state is as much a threat as anything. Nicotine is found in substantial amounts in all forms of tobacco. Nicotine is a substance that can become addicting for the human body. Once inhaled it reaches the brain within seconds. Melbourne writes about the effect: “ As the nicotine level drops in the blood, smokers feel edgy and agitated–the start of nicotine withdrawal. So in order to relieve the discomforts, the smoker light up another cigarette…then another…and another” (Melbourne 3). As a result the smokers wants more to satisfy their need and end up becoming addicted to it. Melbourne writes, “Although 70% of smokers want to quit and more than 40% try to quit each year, fewer than 5% succeed” (Melbourne 6). This happens because smokers are not only physically addicted to it, they are emotionally linked to it. This trait makes it harder for smokers to break the habit.
Even with all the awful things that smoking can do to our bodies, there are still people that think the opposite. Smokers claim that smoking is not bad for them at all, on the contrary it is good for them. Smoker, Gabriella Dominguez, states,” By smoking I feel relief from all the stress that I have. It helps me relax and lets me focus more.” Dr. Lana Cain, on her website Benefitsofsmoking.com writes, “Smoking burns up an extra 300 calories each day. This method is really good and to stop using it would cause a huge gain of obese people in America”. But is it really worth the risk of getting a fatal disease?
